Community Guidelines
Effective October 31, 2026 · Last updated October 31, 2026
These guidelines are for members of the FHIS Circle, our private, invite-only group, and for anyone who sends a prayer request. They come from Matthew 6:3: “When thou dost alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doth.”
The stealth rules
- Know who we are helping. On the Needs Board we share the person’s name, how to reach them and, if we have one, a photo, so we can truly help.
- Nothing leaves the Circle. Never share a person’s name, photo or story outside the Circle, not even with family.
- Members know each other; those we help never learn who helped. When you reach out, you are “For Him In Stealth” or “a member of the group”, never your own name.
- No credit. Do not accept thanks or credit; point people to God.
- Never post about our work in public: no social media, no videos, no “look what we did”.
- Keep the members private. Do not share who is in the Circle.
- Claim before you act, so two people do not do the same thing.
- Pray first, then serve. Give the glory to God alone.
- Safety first. Meet in public places, go in pairs when you can, and never take risks with money or strangers. Call 911 in an emergency.
How we treat each other
- Be kind, honest and patient, in posts, messages and in person.
- No harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, gossip or pressure.
- No selling, fundraising or asking members for money for yourself.
- Respect the dignity of the people we help: no mocking, no judging, no sharing their photos.
- Only post a need with the person’s permission, and only what helpers need to know.
- Keep your login private, and use your nickname.
Prayer requests and the prayer wall
Keep requests respectful. Do not name or describe other people in a way they would not want made public. We review every request before it appears on the public wall, and we may edit or decline any request.
If something is wrong
Tell a Circle leader in the Circle, or email forhiminstealth@gmail.com. If someone is in danger, call 911 first.
What happens if the guidelines are broken
Leaders may remove posts or needs, and may pause or end a membership, to protect the people we serve and the members.
