Privacy Policy

Effective October 31, 2026 · Last updated October 31, 2026

For Him In Stealth (“we”, “us”) runs forhiminstealth.com from Minnesota. We share Christian music and prayer, and a small invite-only group, the FHIS Circle, quietly helps people in need. This policy explains, in plain English, what information the site collects, why, and the choices you have.

The short version

  • We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
  • We do not use analytics, ad trackers or tracking pixels.
  • You can listen, pray and read without giving us anything.
  • When you send us a form, it goes to our email and to a private admin area only we can see.
  • You can ask us to show, fix or delete your information at any time: Privacy Requests.

What we collect, and when

Just visiting

Our web host and our security tools automatically record basic technical details for every visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use this only to keep the site running and safe (for example, to block attacks). See the Cookie Policy for cookies and similar storage.

Forms you choose to send

  • Contact and press messages: your name, email address and message.
  • Prayer requests: your message, and only if you give them, your first name and whether you allow the request to be shown on the public prayer wall. If you allow it, it is shown only after we review it, under your first name only if you ticked that box, otherwise as “Anonymous”.
  • “I need help” requests: the person’s name, how to reach them, their general area, what they need, and an optional photo. Photos are re-saved by the site to remove hidden location (GPS) and camera data, and are stored privately, not in a public folder.
  • Requests to join the Circle: a nickname, how to reach you, and why you would like to join.

Each form is emailed to us and a copy is kept in a private admin area of the site. To limit spam, the site briefly keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for a few minutes.

FHIS Circle members (invite-only)

If you are invited, your account holds a username, a nickname, an optional email address, your password (stored only in scrambled form) and what you post or send in the Circle: needs, updates, prayer requests, forum posts, private messages and notes. Members use nicknames. Members can see each other’s nicknames and who has taken a need, but the people we help are never told which member helped them.

The shop

The shop shows a few shirts. Online payment is not switched on right now. If it is turned on later, your order details would be handled by WooCommerce on this site, and card payments would be processed by a separate payment company under its own privacy policy; we would never see or store your full card number.

Sensitive information

Prayer requests and help requests can reveal religious beliefs, health, family or money matters. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing. By sending a prayer or help request, you agree that we may use it for the purpose you sent it: to pray, to help, and, only if you allow it, to show it on the prayer wall. If you send a request about someone else, please make sure they would be comfortable with it.

How we use information

  • To answer you, pray for you, and help the people we serve.
  • To run the invite-only Circle.
  • To keep the site secure and stop spam and abuse.
  • To meet legal duties.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising or profiling. Information is shared only:

  • Inside the Circle, when a need is posted so a member can help.
  • With service providers that run the site for us: our web host (Hostinger), our email provider (Google Gmail, which receives our form emails), and Google Fonts and YouTube, which serve some fonts, video thumbnails and videos (see the Cookie Policy).
  • When the law requires it, or to protect someone’s safety.

How long we keep it

We keep form messages and Circle content only as long as they are useful for prayer, help or running the Circle, and we delete them when asked unless the law requires otherwise. Circle leaders can delete needs, posts and requests. Security logs and server backups are kept on our hosting server and are replaced over time on a rolling basis.

Security

The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), a security firewall, login protection and regular backups. No website is perfectly secure, so please do not send anything you would not want to risk, such as bank or card numbers, by form or email. If a data breach ever affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it. Circle membership is for adults only.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it. Minnesota residents may also have rights under the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act, including the right to opt out of sale, targeted advertising and profiling (we do none of these) and to appeal a decision we make about a request. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever they live. To make a request, see Privacy Requests. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the effective date at the top. Big changes will be noted on this page.
